Lighting Poles: Built to Perform, Designed to Last.

At NEO Architectural Lighting, we know that light poles aren’t just functional—they’re a vital design element that requires strict standards and robust construction. Backed by more than 30 years of experience, our poles combine exceptional design flexibility with industry-leading durability, ensuring they perform beautifully for the lifetime of your project.

Rigorous Alloy Pretreatment

Without meticulous surface preparation, paint fails—cracking, peeling, and exposing aluminum making it susceptible to corrosion. NEO Architectural Lighting’s 5-step pre-treatment process removes contaminants and preps the surface, ensuring lasting adhesion and a durable finish.

The 5-Step Process:

  1. Preclean Solution — clears away debris and oils.
  1. Rinse — removes solution and residues.
  1. CrysCoat Solution — enhances corrosion resistance and paint adhesion.
  1. Rinse — ensures purity.
  1. Sealer Solution — adds an extra layer to ensure lasting paint adhesion to the pole.

A Finish that Survives the Elements

Each finish is electrostatically applied to a minimum thickness of 3.0 mil, then heat-cured in a high-temperature oven where the powder melts, flows and cures into a smooth durable fine-textured matte surface. This process ensures long-lasting color, corrosion resistance, and a tough finish that resists chipping and peeling.

Standard and Custom Finishes

NEO Architectural Lighting is your partner in achieving a truly cohesive lighting design by color-matching poles to your exact palette, ensuring seamless visual alignment between the pole, post top, and your landscape aesthetic. We’ll match the pole exactly to your luminaire or specified color for a perfect match.

NEO Architectural Lighting also offers five standard powder coat finishes: Black Textured Matte, Corten Color, Graphite Grey, Natural Painted Aluminum, and Silver Grey. Contact your agent for a color sample.

Environmentally Conscious

Powder coating is more sustainable than traditional liquid paint due to its low environmental impact, efficient use of materials, and reduced toxicity. The electrostatic process contains no solvents or VOCs (volatile organic compounds). Additionally, overspray can be reclaimed and reused, reducing material waste. While powder coating does require curing in an oven, newer technologies allow for faster cure cycles, improving energy efficiency over time. The durability of the paint removes the need for future repainting, ensuring your light pole by NEO stands up the elements.
